We were awake before the first train was running. It was dry and a clear sky, and colder.
As we lay there last night we could feel the rumble of tge trains passing nearby.
Only a few bics for breaky then we walked on releaved to have another decent bed tonight. There were s few folk around shore fishing, I was surprised to see so many.
It was not long before we walked into a very sleepy suburbia Bexhill. A few woman walked dogs, it was about 8.30.
We were in no hurry today and headed for a McDonalds for breakfast and a coffee. I used its Wifi to update my phone apps and to view the North Downs Way via the Long Distance Walkers Association web site. A great site for all trails in the Uk.
After a good time there we made it along the coast to Hastings.
It was a lovely day and crowds of folk were sobbering up with a walk.
In Hastings I was surprised to see so many shops open. Supplies the a short walk to the Travelodge.
An easy slow day. Relaxed and always welcome.
4400 mile backpack of the Great British National Trails in one continuous walk .This includes Section One- 3700 miles of the National Trails of England and Wales , all 15 trails , Section 2- a 700 miles of the 4 Scottish Long Distant Paths.
