What can I say, we caught the train back to Machynlleth and walked the A497 road to Borth in the rain. It took 4 hours and we averaged 3.7 miles per hour, so our Viewranger Gps told us! What a differance without packs.Normally we at top speed with packs is just over 3mph.
The evening was spent going catching up with blogs, tent repairs and watching a dvd with fellow hostellers. Felix, a University Aberystwyth student, was a jolly, amicable chap ,who supplied a dvd for us to watch- Signs.
