Heavy frost with clear skys on leaving. Tent very icy.

Pitched about 1.75 miles from Wycoller

It was a cold night of -4. Frost in and on the tent. I luckily was cosy.

We had experienced Stoodley Pike when going south on Pennine Way 5 months ago.

1st March. Leaving Mankinhole YHA

Excellent hostel, excellent company. Felt like I was staying with a family. The volunteer wardens, Vic and his wife,  were very welcoming , even put a fire on in the comfy lounge. Thank you to all.
